Our team consists of dedicated office staff, registered dental hygienists and dental assistants.
VICKI ACKERS
OFFICE MANAGER
CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Vicki joined our team in 2005 and is a graduate of the dental assisting program at Coastal Carolina Community College. After many years of chairside assisting, she transitioned to front desk administrator
where she aptly juggles many tasks. She enjoys spending time with her husband William, their dogs, and family and friends. When time permits, you can find her on the beach or riding motorcycles with her husband and friends.
JULIE BAKER
DENTAL HYGIENIST
In 2014, we were fortunate to welcome Julie, a registered dental hygienist to our team. With 10 years of dental experience, including prior work as a dental assistant, she is passionate about educating her patients and working with them to have a healthy, beautiful smile. She enjoys watching football (GO STEELERS), and spending time with her family.
SHANNON LUDDEN
DENTAL HYGIENIST
One of our highly effective registered dental hygienists, Shannon has been part of our team since 2013. She strives to improve her patient's dental health through education and treatment. She received her associate’s degree in 2009 from Wayne Community College. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her husband and 2 beautiful daughters.
AMY NELSON
CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
Amy joined our team in 1985 and has had extensive training in esthetic dentistry, orthodontics and clinical management. She enjoys spending time with her husband Dean, two children Michaela and Mason, and grandsons Easton and Milan, often going to the cape and boating. Her friends and family love her cooking and baking, and we look forward to her sharing with all of us.
SUE ELLEN LAWRENCE
CERTIFIED DENTAL ASSISTANT
In 2021 we had the good fortune to add Sue Ellen to our team. With 20-plus years of dental experience and extensive training in esthetic dentistry and orthodontics, she has been an asset to the practice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two beautiful children, Caden and Lillian, crafting, shopping, and going to the beach.
